Who wrote the poem “The Miller of the Dee” and why was the Miller happier than the king?



This poem is written by Charles Mackay, who was a Scottish journalist and a songwriter. Miller is happier than the king because he had no worries while the king had many worries and responsibilities about his kingdom. Moreover, the Miller lived a contented life without envy towards anybody.
