Differences between bryophyte and Tracheophyta

Bryophytes:

  1. They are eukaryotic and non- vascular plants.
  2. Cell wall made up of cellulose and zygotes develops into Embryo. No true roots, stem, and leaves.
  3. They show heteromorphy alternation of generation bryophytes have main generation gametophyte.

Tracheophytes

  1. They are a little lighter plant having vascular tissues, xylem, and phloem.
  2. They have well-developed root, stem, and leaves.
  3. In Trocheophytes the saprophyte generation is dominant Gametophyte generation is very small.
