Differences between Angiosperm and Gymnosperm

 

Angiosperm

  • Ovules are enclosed in the ovary
  • The fruit is developed from the ovary
  • Seeds are inside the fruits.
  • The man stem has many branches up to the top.
  • vegetative parts have roots, stem and normal leaves. reproductive parts are flowers, fruit, and seeds inside the fruit.

Gymnosperm

  • Ovules are nakedly produced by cones.
  • The fruit is absent due to the absence of ovary.
  • Seeds are naked develop in ovules.
  • The main stem has two types of two branches called long shoots and dwarf shoots
  • Reproductive parts are male and female comes. Male cones arise In clusters at the end of long shoots. Female cones develop singly on dwarf shoots and are larger than male cones.
