Definition of : (1) Tactic movement (2) Species (3) Decomposes



(1) Tactic movement:

Movement of plant body as a whole from one place to another in response to external stimuli such as light, chemical and temperature are called Ta.ctic Movement.

 

(2) Species:

Species is the basic unit of classification. It consists of a group of organisms which has numerous common, physical features. The organisms are capable of inter breeding and producing fertile off spring.

 

(3) Decomposer:

Bacteria and fungi are decomposing which decompose dead organisms in the soil. They change complex organic molecules to simple inorganic substances which are returned to the environment.
