(i) Empirical Formula:

It is the formula which gives only the relative number of each type of atoms present in a molecule. It gives the ratio between combining atoms. ‘

(ii) Molar Mass:

It is the relative molecular mass expressed in grams.

(iii) Avogadro’s Number:

Avogadro’s Number is the number which gives the number of atoms in one mole of an element or the number of molecules in one mole of a compound. Its value is 6.02 x 1023•
