(1) Radioactivity:

It is the spontaneous disintegration of the nucleus of an atom, in which invisible radiation is emitted, which affect a photographic plate.


(2) Halogens:

These are an element of VII A group of the periodic table. They combine readily with metals to form salts.

Allotropy is the phenomenon in which the same chemical substance exists in different physical forms with different physical properties but chemically they are same. Eg. Sulpher, Carbon
