(i) ElectroChemistry:

Electrochemistry is the branch of chemistry which deals with the relation between electricity and chemical reaction between electricity and chemical reactions, i.e. conversion of electrical energy into chemical and chemical to electrical energy. 

(ii) Electrochemical Equivalent:

It is the weight of a substance deposited or liberated when one coulomb of electric charge is passed through an electrolyte. It is denoted by Zand has unit Kg/Coulomb.

(iii) Electrolysis:

Electrolysis is the process in which ions move towards opposite electrodes to undergo chemical charge when an electric current is passed through an electrolyte.
